What one note feels like.
Mistake:
Your first photo is unclear, badly lit, too far away, or hiding your face.
What women read:
She does not think, "Maybe he looks better in person." She thinks: Why did he choose this? Is he hiding something? Is this recent?
Better version:
Your first photo should make the basic answer obvious: this is what he looks like, he looks clean, he looks socially normal, and he looks confident enough to show his face.
One action:
Open your profile and look only at photo #1. If she cannot understand your face, grooming, body frame, and general vibe within two seconds, that photo should not be leading.
